“Teach my children.” This is what I heard spoken to my heart over a decade ago while I was attending a Christian youth camp my senior year of high school. At the time, I didn’t know what that meant for my future, but a couple of years later it clicked when my mom, also an early childhood educator, got me a part time position at a center in Newburgh. It didn’t take long for me to realize that this was my passion.

Over the past eight years, I have held many different positions at three different centers, begun to hone in on my personal philosophy, and have continued my education, culminating in achieving my associate’s degree from Ivy Tech Community College in May 2023. When I first began at St. Vincent Early Learning Center, I immediately knew that I was blessed to be a part of this amazing community of educators who truly love our families and children and who strive to continually grow in our own knowledge, improving our quality of care constantly. I love building relationships with families and working alongside them to help the children grow and develop the framework for their learning throughout their lives.
