All living beings, especially children, are worthy of admiration. We honor their rights, their perspectives, and become advocates for their individual dignity and spirit which makes them unique.
Connection is the whole of life and the foundation of our work. In every interaction, we strive to engage with one another, our surroundings, our resources, and our world in ways that foster collaboration and inclusion.
We honor our commitment to leadership and innovation in education, and believe that our expertise drives excellence, our vision creates progress, and our voice compels meaningful transformation.
Our vision is to provide educational programs with a rounded curriculum that enables children to be ready for sustained success in educational progress, to facilitate access to programs and resources that help families address issues related to financial and social challenges to help them overcome barriers and move toward self-sufficiency, and to be a gateway to a holistic array of services through collaborative relationships with organizations in our community that assist children and families.
Interested in donating, volunteering, enrolling or learning more about the importance of high-quality early learning?
Our educational approach fosters children’s development and learning in the domains of child development—physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and linguistic (including bilingual or multilingual development), as well as approaches to learning, which are essential; each domain both supports and is supported by the others.
Vincentian values are rooted in compassion, service, and justice. They inspire individuals to actively love and care for the marginalized, fostering a more just and compassionate world.
Our goal in embracing the Reggio approach to our child-centered education is to foster innovation, creativity, and relationships amongst and with our youngest citizens.
Nature has much to offer, and we firmly believe in being connected to nature to support children’s growth and development.
We strive to understand best how children’s brains develop and what we can do to support their social and emotional well-being, while building the basics for a solid social and emotional foundation.
Since 1918, St. Vincent Early Learning Center has served our community and neighborhood by providing affordable and high-quality early childhood education, which all children deserve.
We are the second oldest early learning center in Indiana and nationally accredited, with professional, degreed teachers. We focus diligently through our engagement and enrollment efforts to ensure our youngest citizens and their families have access to positive early experiences to reach their full potential. We welcome you to our St. Vincent family!
“Our first few years of life is when education matters most. At St. Vincent, we honor and protect those years as sacred.”

“Education provides stability in life, and no one can take it away from you. Early Childhood Education starts at birth.”
“St. Vincent is like a second home where children can grow and thrive. This is the type of care and support I want for my kids.”
St. Vincent Early Learning Center hosts several educational and fun engagement activities and events for our families and the entire community during the year. These offer excellent opportunities to get involved – donate, volunteer, and advocate – to help make accessible, affordable, and high-quality early learning for all children a priority in our community. Making early childhood education a community and philanthropic priority in our giving reverence, connection, and growth ensures that our youngest citizens reach their full potential.
